Subject: WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
We are a non-profit organization with a goal of equipping, enriching and
encouraging
our Samoan Youth through Biblical teaching and educating them in our culture through activities
and games. The programs aim is that through training and education in our
culture along with
their spiritual walk our youth will become role models in communities throughout Hawaii.
Our youth has been selected to represent Hawaii Samoa EFKAS (CCCAS) Diocese
at the
Jubilee Celebration of Kanana Fou Congregational Christian Church in American Samoa from July 7,
2005 through July 18, 2005. We are currently fundraising to
take over 100 Youths from Hawaii to American Samoa. These youths will be participating in group competition of games, spiritual
skits
and songs, volleyball, basketball and other festivities of Samoan Culture
at Kanana Fou Theological College.
On May 28, 2005 at 6 o’clock in the evening, the Christian Education Program
Staff is
sponsoring a Louisiana Seafood Boil with the traditional Polynesian Food Dinner at Kanana Fou Congregational Christian Church Hawaii. Entertainment will be provided by the vaega (Group)
that will be going on the Malaga (trip) to Samoa. We are asking for a donation of $100 per person
for this fund raiser. Reminder all donations are tax deductible.
Some of the expenses include: Air Fare (Group Rate) of $742.00 per person;
Uniforms
per person $250.00; Food, Ground Transportation and Lodging in Samoa $10,000.00 for the entire
Group.
We pray with the hope that you will help us make this a once in a life time experience
