Niu (Coconut Tree): Coconut was the Tree of Life. From the Trunk came small canoes, house posts, house lumber, drums, large dishes. From the leaves: baskets, mats, hats, shrimp and small fish traps, brooms, fans, roofings, window covers, and toys. The nut husk gave firewood and rope, and the milk and meat gave food, dessert and oil for hair and body, and oil for lanterns. The nut shell came spoons, small dishes, bottles and coal. The ripe coconuts were also used as floatation and young trees started everywhere in the South Pacific and other parts of God's Wonderful World.

This Family is like a Niu a Tree of life. A Samoan Global Family.
