I was just on
your website and was reading Vai's little update... good stuff! Glad to
hear that God continues to bless our family as well as watch over us all.
Also, belated congratulations to Andrew on his great accomplishment as
well!
Anyway, just
wanted to add a name to your "graduates of 2007" list..... Doreen Ann Fouaimalo Suluvale... she graduated on June 30 from the
Esther Mallett International Bible University with a... Doctorate of Divinity degree! Wow, huh? Way to go
Een!!! Yeah, us and Uncle Gogo and his kids and our church were at her
graduation! I know for sure that both dad and Uncle are very proud
of her, as we all are!
Well, so far
this has been a really really really busy couple of months for us at church and
with other family stuff. We're pretty much booked up every Saturday until
the end of August! Oka oka!
Joshua
and his wife are expecting their first baby on August 8.... finally, after almost 3 years of
marriage!!!! Everyone is doing fine here in Cali. Uncle and
Dad are doing good.... all the aunties are fine also. The kids are doing
well... Jared (my son) graduated from elementary school with a Presidential
Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement (3.5 gpa!) and an award for reading
over 4,000 pages during the school year!
By the way (and
please don't be mad), but I have to work the week of the reunion. I had
already told my boss that I was going to take my vacation that week, but the
other girl in the office didn't know and she booked her vacation for the same
week and by the time she told my boss about HER vacation, she had already paid
for their plane tickets and booked their hotel reservations. And of
course the plane tickets were non-refundable!!!! And since I'M the office
manager, I have to make sure there's somebody here to cover her, esp. since she
does the payroll and accounting. So I have to pull double duty while
SHE'S on vacation!!! But I'll be there in the late afternoons and at
night. I just hate that I'm going to miss all the fun in the daytime.
Well, ua lava ia nei tala. Just wanted to give you the info on Doreen so she can be recognized as well when the time comes! Please kiss Aunty Bette for me and say hi to Andrew for me. Is Jess still in Oregon? Well, can't wait to see everyone in the next few weeks! Have a safe trip here!
